Soren Soe, Co-Founder & Director
Soren has held various project, engineering and executive leadership positions since completing his
Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1991.
Soren has worked extensively with leading development and commercialisation of onshore drilling rigs for mineral exploration, geothermal drilling, geotechnical applications and coiled tubing rigs for the oil and gas industry.
During his career Soren has expatriated from Denmark to China, The Netherlands and Poland managing several drilling companies.
Since arriving in Adelaide, Australia in 2014 Soren has led a diverse team of researchers and technicians from METS drilling service and supply companies, manufacturers, the IT sector and academia in the coiled tubing drilling industry.
Soren has been an integral part of coiled tubing drilling industry and is well renowned in the industry for his innovations, knowledge and expertise.
Kate McRostie, Co-Founder & Director
Kate has over 15 years' experience in Finance, Operations & Business management, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
Kate is an accomplished CPA and has spent the last several years working in large public organisations headquartered in the USA, with a key focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness throughout business and driving strategic growth.
Prior to this Kate was a specialist in local SME’s, with a particular focus on successful start ups.
Kate has a passion for getting under the numbers and analysing key drivers in business and has a strong commercial mind. Kate is a hands-on leader, who strives for continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness.
Shane Fox, Engineering Manager
Shane has over 15 years experience in engineering, R&D and technology innovation and has been instrumental in the design and development of innovative coiled tubing drilling technologies in Australia.
Shane has been developing coiled tubing drilling rigs since 2013, collaborating with a diverse team comprising researchers, technicians, and experts from METS drilling service and supply firms, manufacturers, the IT sector, and academia.
Shane is a world class mechanical engineer, at the forefront of cutting edge coiled tubing drilling technology for geothermal.
Mengbin Min, Senior Control Systems Engineer
With over 10 years in mechatronics engineering, Mengbin’s career has been varied with industrial, research and tutoring experience.
Mengbin is dedicated to the designs, test and installation of control systems and since 2020, Mengbin has been solely dedicated to developing advanced control and automation systems for coiled tubing drilling rigs in the minerals industry.
Mengbin is highly skilled in mechatronics related software, hardware and open-source platforms and is a customer-focused, results-driven team player.
Rob Brewis, Mechanical Engineer
Rob is a specialist in CAD designs and advanced manufacturing processes and has been involved in R&D and manufacturing of coiled tubing drilling equipment since relocating to Australia in 2004.
Rob‘s expertise includes managing 3D modelling, supplying detailed workshop drawings, BOM’s, spare parts catalogue, user manual, SWP’s, supply chain, field trials, machining and fitting.
