The CTEnergy Series

The CTEnergy design is CoilRig's maiden rig. It is a coiled tubing drilling rig built for optimised drilling of geothermal boreholes in soft and consolidated formations such as sand, clays, shales with occasional intersection of boulders. 

The standard CTEnergy rigs offer:

• CTEnergy500 drilling to 500ft/152m 
• CTEnergy850 drilling to 800ft/260m
• Optimised for drilling of 4¼" - 5" boreholes 
• An extremely compact and manoeuvrable design, enabling access in high density areas
• Mud pump on board
• 350HP tier 4 diesel engine
• Hydraulics and electrics mounted on a crawler carrier
• Commences drilling from surface
• Increased fatigue life compared to other CT systems on the market
• Remains over the drilled hole whilst installing the ground loop
